Content: This booklet describes how we work at the Chew School. We collaborate closely in working with each individual child; however, Lotta, who is a speech-language pathologist, is principally responsible for evaluation, treatment and follow-up and Lena, who is a dental nurse, conducts training with the children. The aim of the Chew School is to give children with delayed eating development the opportunity to train skills needed to be able to eat and drink. The method was developed jointly by Helena Fagerberg Moss, psychologist, Karin Ennerfelt, parent and psychologist, and Gunilla Klingberg, child dentist. The children who have taken part in the Chew School and their parents have helped us develop the method and have been our greatest source of inspiration.
